Standardbred Riding Group Inc

The Standardbred Riding Group was formed by a group of people who enjoyed getting together and doing different things with their wonderful horses.  We wanted to prove that this wonderful breed was more than just a racehorse or a trail riding horse, this breed with the right education can do anything and so with the generous sponsorship of Cedarsprings Horses THE STANDARDBRED RIDING GROUP of Central Victoria was established.

 
As part of our groups activities some of us will aim to promote the standardbred by competing in various competitions i.e. Navigation rides, Dressage days, Showjumping. Showing, etc.  Not all our members wish to compete and that is fine, for those that do, the group has a wonderful new uniform with the groups logo embroidered onto it (the uniform will be available to all members should they wish to wear it).  As we are also a fun group of people we will meet up for trail rides, camps and social occasions.  We will get together once a month for a trail ride or a rally. Rallies will be where we work on educating ourselves and our horses, and help one another.  We will also get together once a month for a meeting/social get together. 

 
We are a laid back friendly club that will welcome members of all ages and abilities; the only condition of joining our club is that you must ride a standardbred.  We aim to keep this a fun and happy club for all its members to enjoy and relax and most importantly have a great time with our wonderful STANDARDBREDS.
